  28.     Unforutnatly this is rather normal for the many lower-quality 28.8
  29. modems, although it really shouldn't be..  Anyway, a bit mroe information
  30. would help, like what type of modem do you have and what type of modem
  31. does your provider have?  Also, if possible, try to figure out WHY the
  32. modem is disconnected.  Most modems have a command that will tell you
  33. this, check your manual to find out what it is..
